Music Rewards
We believe in the importance of children learning to play a musical instrument. That's why 4 Kids by Kids, Inc. will be supporting grade school students who desire to participate in music or theatre classes. This reward is strictly for families who are unable to pay for rental instruments or supplies. Children must be high achievers with good classroom conduct.
Learning to play an instrument:
• improves academic skills
• develops physical skills
• cultivates social skills
• refines discipline and patience
• boosts self-esteem
• introduces children to other cultures
Music and math are highly intertwined. By understanding beat, rhythm, and scales, children are learning how to divide, create fractions, and recognize patterns. It seems that music wires a child's brain to help him better understand other areas of math, says Lynn Kleiner, founder of Music Rhapsody in Redondo Beach, CA
Summer Reading Program
Get Paid!
What are your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews doing for the Summer? Four Kids by Kids has a summer reading program. This program is specifically targeted to boys 5th- 8th grade; but girls are welcome to participate. We want to encourage boys to read more, so we give a monetary incentive at the end of the program.
